Biosafety Cabinets

Our biological cabinet is an open-fronted, negative pressure ventilated cabinet for people and environmental protection that directs unrecirculated air away from the operator. Class I cabinets are essentially similar to chemical fume hoods, with the exception that they include a high efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filter on the exhaust outlet and may or may not be connected to an exhaust duct. The Class I cabinet has one limitation: it does not provide product protection.

Class 2 Biosafety Cabinets Type A2
Similar to Type A1, but with an increased inflow velocity of 100 feet per minute. It can handle small amounts of volatile chemicals if vented to the facility's HVAC system.
